USER AGREEMENT FOR THE WEBSITE uwex.org

 1. Legal Status of Materials

• 1.1. All materials posted on the website uwex.org (hereinafter referred to as the Website), including but not limited to: texts, photographs, videos, graphic images, audio files, databases, design, and other results of intellectual activity (hereinafter referred to as the Materials), are protected by copyright under Articles 1259‑1260 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation (RF CC).
• 1.2. Exclusive rights to the Materials belong to the NP “Reconnaissance-Diving Club” or “Reconnaissance-Diving Team” (hereinafter referred to as the Rights Holder). The Materials are not in the public domain and are not subject to free use.
• 1.3. Any use of the Materials is allowed only with the prior written permission of the Rights Holder, except in cases expressly provided for by the current legislation of the Russian Federation.

 2. Terms of Use of Materials

• 2.1. Without the written consent of the Rights Holder, the following is prohibited:
  • Copying, reposting, or republishing the Materials on any electronic resources, including social networks, websites, blogs, media, and mobile applications;
  • Quoting beyond the scope permitted under Article 1274 of the RF CC;
  • Including the Materials in videos, podcasts, presentations, articles, courses, and educational content (including those published on YouTube, TikTok, VK, and other platforms);
  • Using the Materials for commercial or non-commercial purposes, including advertising, marketing, print materials, and educational projects;
  • Any modification or adaptation: translation, compilation, editing, creation of derivative works (Article 1270 of the RF CC);
  • Extracting data from the site using automated tools: parsing, scraping, code-based copying (Article 1253.1 of the RF CC).
• 2.2. Short quotations are allowed without consent if justified by the purpose of quotation and provided that:
  • The author’s name or “Reconnaissance-Diving Team” is cited;
  • The source is cited with an active hyperlink to uwex.org.

 3. Liability for Violation

• 3.1. Any unauthorized use of the Materials entails liability under:
  • Article 1301 of the RF CC – compensation of up to 500,000 rubles or twice the value of lawful use (at the Rights Holder’s discretion);
  • Obligation to remove the infringing content upon the first written request;
  • Obligation to compensate for losses, including lost profits.
• 3.2. The Rights Holder has the right to:
  • Send an official claim;
  • File a lawsuit to block the illegal content and recover compensation (Articles 1252, 1253 of the RF CC);
  • Contact service providers, platform administrators, Roskomnadzor, and other authorities to stop the violation.

 4. Final Provisions

• 4.1. This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Russian Federation. Disputes are subject to review in court at the location of the Rights Holder.
• 4.2. The Rights Holder may amend this Agreement. The current version is published on the Website and becomes effective upon posting.
